As a highly visible position within management, we're seeking an experienced SQE / SQA ENGINEER who can oversee SW development processes and ensure compliance to programs. This role will gain a significant amount of leadership and project engineering in addition to quality engineering experience. Familiar with software full life-cycle and Configuration Management, SEI CMMI would be a plus. We?ll teach you the rest!
- Monitor the SW development processes of both internal and external projects.
- Able to mentor and encourage compliance among fellow software developers, any past programming experience will be of value since you'll be talking from experience!
- Provide SQE/SQA oversight for assigned software suppliers and manage SQA programs budgets. Must be able to take on leadership responsibilities.
- Assist in gathering quality metrics and generate reports for programs, present to management.
- Review and present audit results to staff and management. If needed, ensure appropriate changes are implemented to comply. Continually participate in process improvement activities.
- Able to communicate with peers and management, influence change. If you have any prior programming experience of real-time embedded systems would be a plus.
- BS degree along with 4+ years of industry experience. based on experience SALARY $70-$97k
