This Society for Software Quality grant-in-aid is offered in the memory of P. A. "Dusty" Rhodes who was a founder of the SSQ and a firm believer in quality software education. The award is based on an essay contest which is to foster an awareness of quality software principles.

Grant two: $1000.00 award to the ainning essay authored by a college sophomore or junior.
