| The purpose of this task is to require the contractor to provide source data, explosive ordnance disposal procedures, recommended render safe procedures, and test items for new or modified weapons systems, explosive ordnance items, and aircraft systems. | |
| The contractor shall provide detailed source data on explosive ordnance design functioning, and safety so that proper EOD tools, equipment and procedures can be validated and verified. The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Center (NAVEODTECHCEN), Indian Head, MD. will assist in establishing quantities and types of assets required. | |
| The contractor shall provide courses of action to be taken by explosive ordnance disposal personnel to render safe and dispose of explosive ordnance. | |
| The contractor shall provide test ordnance for the conduct of EOD validation and verification testing. | |
